Superb Views of Sea & Mountains
Overlooking a sandy tidal estuary with mountains beyond, the Wild Atlantic farmhouse retains many of its original features and is furnished in a traditional style. The house was built in nineteenth century, is quaint but has all modern facilities.
Seaside Holiday
We have our old fashioned seaside holidays here, a short walk (1km), down a narrow scenic country lane goes to the nearest beach. Buckets, spades, shrimping nets, skim boards and body boards all available for the family, along with picnic baskets, beach rugs and volcano kettle.
A Family House
The owners of Wild Atlantic House, first stayed here in the 1960s. It quickly became a much loved holiday house and it continues to be the home of their innumerable and legendary holidays, both summer and winter. Digital detox – no WiFi or TV.
Walk the Dingle Way
The house is located close to the Wild Atlantic Way and it is directly on the Dingle Way walking route, which traverses the lower ranges of Mt. Brandon, one of the highest mountains in Ireland, 952 m (3123 ft). To climb the mountain, walk out the gate and up the lane to the end of the road.
